“$ome $exy $ongs 4 U” — A Late But Loving Review

Written by: Shaniece Vincent | @svculture

Okay, yeah, I know this is a little late since the album dropped Feb 14, 2025, but I couldn't not write my thoughts. Some music just takes time to really sit with you, ya know? You have to live in it before you can speak on it.

Party 🤝 Drake — when they link up in the stu it’s always a moment.

Anyway, here are my top 5 tracks from the album:

5. “Nokia”

Definitely a contender for song of the summer.

“Babyyyygurllllll lemme see you do your dance.”
The vibes are undeniable. Feels like windows-down, city-night energy.

4. “Pimmie’s Dilemma”

Short and sweet — I live for tracks like this.
Always wish they were longer, but maybe that’s the magic.

3. “Somebody Loves Me”

Emotional, catchy, lowkey addictive. Stuck in my head since first listen.

2. “Deeper”

PARTYYYYYYYYYYYYYY.
This one’s a late-night drive with your thoughts type of track.
If you’re a real PND fan, you already know his voice hits different on these.

1. “When He’s Gone”

This one?? Whew. 90s R&B real bad.
Messy. Honest.Realistic.
They said what they said, and I’m here for every second.

“All they left you with is anxiety and apologies, How you supposed to stay with that nigga in this economy?”
Lol but fr — I love when his songs melt into new beats mid-track.

Honorable Mentions:
Greed, Brian Steel, Moth Balls
(These could’ve easily made the list, too.)

What’s Cooking: Cinnamon Roll Edition

So I made cinnamon rolls from scratch the other day and they were way too good.
Only thing — I think I need more cinnamon on the inside. Still tweaking the recipe, but here’s a pic of how they turned out.
Honestly? They slapped.
